Nick Turner has worked in the music industry for over twenty years as sound artist, producer, engineer, performer and writer. He founded Watercolour Music in Lochaber in 1994, building the business up from a single-room recording studio in a disused hotel function suite to its current position as one of the country’s most sought-after recording locations in purpose-built premises in Ardgour, Lochaber, overlooking Loch Linnhe and Ben Nevis.
Glasgow-born Mary Ann Kennedy has been surrounded by music all her life, coming from a well-known family of traditional musicians from the Isle of Skye – the Campbells of Greepe. She trained intensively as a classical musician from a young age, a founder pupil of the Music School of Douglas Academy, the first state music school in the UK. She graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and completed postgraduate research and training at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, where she was the first harpist in the college’s history to be awarded its highest performance diploma.
Rycote is a "natural" and enjoys partaking in "natural" activities such as rolling in feces, playing in mud, and digging. Allegedly he is also a "thinking" dog; meaning he wants to please but also looks for a way to bend the rules - a characteristic that helps with their hunting ability (paticularly with socks). He is supposed to either work for himself or not at all. Lets Face it - it's the latter
